We're here to make sure your voice is heard.
Lumida Editing & Proofreading is a boutique agency providing fully remote editorial services. Our head office is in Toronto, Canada, but we serve businesses and individuals throughout North America.
Editing
We’ll edit your document in full, paying special attention to technical errors, grammatical concerns, clarity, concision, formatting, citation styling, organization, logical coherence, and more.
When considering your document’s life cycle, editing usually occurs as soon as you have a completed draft that you’re happy with. You’ll send us your document, and we’ll provide you with a thorough edit that helps you craft the clearest and most effective document possible. Often, there will be a need for you to make further changes to your writing after this stage, so it is usually advisable that you send the document back to us for a final proofread; this will help catch any lingering or newly introduced errors.
What do we edit?
- Academic papers and articles
- Essays
- ESL documents
- Resumes and cover letters
- LinkedIn profiles
- Blog posts
- Admissions essays
- Website copy
- Speeches and presentations
- Corporate documents
- Screenplays and scripts
Proofreading
We’ll proofread your final document to eliminate grammatical and typographical errors, inconsistencies, and citation errors.
When considering your document’s life cycle, proofreading is usually the final step in the process of creating a document and occurs immediately prior to submission or publication. So, if you are looking to have us proofread your document, your document has already undergone rigorous editing to correct errors related to formatting, argument structure, or content. If you’ve had your document edited elsewhere, you are still welcome to send the document to us for a final proofread.
